Mr. Gibbs was born Feb. 8, 1961, in Madrid, Spain. He was a road construction superintendent for Brown & Brown for more than three years. He married Diana C. Reeves on May 9, 1986, in Salina.

Survivors include his wife, Diana, of Salina; two sons, Cameron Gibbs and Eli Gibbs of the home; a daughter, Amber Gibbs of the home; a brother, Chuck Gibbs of New York; two sisters, Cindy Gray of Salina and Denise Rouse of Solomon; and his mother, Millie Gibbs, of Salina.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bel Air Baptist Church, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the Gibbs Children’s Education Fund.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
