Mr. Hatt was born July 21, 1941, in Walla Walla, Wash. He was a custodian for Salina Central High School.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lynn Hatt.

Survivors include his wife, Irene, of the home; a son, Dennis Hatt Jr. of Salina; three brothers, Earl Suggs and Larry Suggs, both of Roseburg, Ore., and Butch Lavota of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters, Bonnie Bennett of Ephrata, Wash., JerryAnn Bruce of Roseburg and Connie Fairchild of Winston, Ore.; and a granddaughter, Taylor Westhusin.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m.
