Mr. Holmes was born July 4, 1940, in Salina, Kan. He was a draftsman for Jarvis Construction in Salina and for Mesa Development Center in Mesa.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lee; and his parents, Wayne R. and Elnora O. (Corsaut) Holmes.

Survivors include his wife, Marty, of Mesa; two daughters, Cindy Wells of Salina and Billie Redelberger of Haysville, Kan.; four stepchildren, Richard Sincock of Seattle, Tony Crable and Bo Sincock, both of Salina, and Kathy Comfort of Lindsborg, Kan.; two brothers, Wayne L. of Salina and Phillip E. of Pampa, Texas; five grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the Saline County Animal Shelter, 329 N. Second, Salina 67401.

There will be no visitation.
