Mr. Holley was born Jan. 14, 1943, in Burnwell, W.Va. He was a custodian in the West Virginia school systems.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of Salina; a son, Cecil Holley Jr. and wife Sally of Abilene; two daughters, Sherry Bunton of Salina and Patty Howard and husband Mark of Chadron, Neb.; eight grandchildren, Kandi, Deborah, Corwin, Tony, Crystale, Sara, Matthew and Karry; and a great-grandchild, Hailie.

The family will hold a private memorial service.
