Mrs. Knox was born Patricia L. Lindsay on Oct. 4, 1932, in Norman, Okla., the daughter of Louis C. and Virginia (Crabbe) Lindsay. She was a homemaker.

She married William P. Knox on Dec. 17, 1954, at First Methodist Church, Norman, Okla.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Salina, P.E.O. Chapter D.L. and a former member of Salina Charities League.

She volunteered for Hospice of Salina, the Salina Public Library and Salina Regional Health Center Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Virginia Hunter.

Survivors include her husband, Bill, of Salina; two sons, Jeffrey B. and wife Paula of Salina and John W. and wife Juliet of Centennial, Colo.; two daughters, Shaun Havard and husband Pat of Nevada City, Calif., and Sandra Knox and husband Hugh Martin of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers, Louis Lindsay III of Rantoul, Ill., and Lee Lindsay of Yukon, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Will and Mara Havard, Scott, Blaine and Craig Knox and Logan and Olivia Knox.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Thomas P. Reid officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church, Hospice of Salina or Tammy Walker Cancer Center, Salina.

There will be no visitation.
