Mrs. McClanahan was born Sandra Bundy on Sept. 18, 1953, in Concordia. She was a computer technician for Alltel Telecommunications Service, Salina. She graduated from Salina High School in 1971 and received an associate degree from Kansas State University at Salina and was valedictorian of her class. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She participated in bowling and softball, was a baseball coach for her children’s teams and loved to camp and garden.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Richard Bundy III.

Survivors include her mother, June Bundy, of Salina; a son, Tyrone Chavez; a daughter, Michelle McClanahan of Salina; a brother, John Bundy of DeSoto; three sisters, Cindy Oetting of Salina, Kathy Peterson of Lakeview, Ark., and Linda Yardley of Scandia; two grandchildren, KeShawn and Chenell McClanahan; and nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be at a later date.
