Mr. Mille was born Jan. 27, 1939, in Ottawa. He was a retired school bus driver and custodian for the Sylvan Unified School District, retiring in 2001.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy A. Mille, of Rose Hill; a son, Robert of Hutchinson; a daughter, Dianna Fisher of Rose Hill; three brothers, Kenneth of Ottawa, Richard of Versailles, Mo., and Frank of Washington; two sisters, Beverly Sellers and Mary Mille, both of Ottawa; four grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
