Mr. Olson was born April 9, 1954, in Salina. He was a construction carpenter and hunting guide as owner of “Ole’s” Wild Bird Hunt Enterprises.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Olson, in 1997.

Survivors include two sons, Eli of Lindsborg and Jacob of Ames, Iowa; his mother, Nevadeane Olson, of Salina; a sister, Joy Patrick and husband Larry of Salina; and a brother, Jerry and wife Janice of Parker, Colo.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Rev. Karen Guy officiating.

Memorials may be made to Lindsborg County Hospital.

Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m.

Cremation will follow the visitation.
