Mrs. Perez was born Dorothy H. Rice on Oct. 11, 1926, in St. Louis. She was a homemaker and an employee at Tony’s Pizza Service for seven years.

Her husband, Andrew, died in 1979.

Survivors include three sons, Andrew Jr. of Lansing, and David and William, both of Salina; two daughters, Catherine Leonard and Carmen Siemsen, both of Salina; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

A vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Memorials may be made to the cathedral or the Harry Hynes Hospice in Wichita.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.
