Mrs. Pierson was born Jessie G. Wallace on Sept. 13, 1911, near Hill City, Kan. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark, in 1994; and a grandchild.

Survivors include two daughters, Ilene Jones of Springfield and Lavonne Reeder of WaKeeney, Kan.; a sister, Louveta Boyd of Mill Valley, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, KS 67401. Burial will be in Rose-lawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, Salina, or St. John's Hospice, Springfield.

Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
