Mr. Reese was born May 29, 1935, near Gypsum. He was a farmer and stockman in the Gypsum area his entire life.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mindy Reese; and a great-granddaughter, Rae-Lyn Hecke.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis, of the home; a son, Jim of Smolan; two daughters, Stephanie Moyer of Gypsum and Joyce Hitchcock of Mentor; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Gypsum United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Poheta Cemetery, rural Kipp.

Memorials may be made to the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church or Special Olympics.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
