On November 5, 1943 at the Methodist Church in Marysville, California she was united in marriage to Ralph Schur.

Mrs. Schur, a homemaker, was employed by Douglas Aircraft during World War II and Southwestern Bell for a number of years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Mac Schur; and two sisters, Leta Norris and Grace Berdell Bell.

Survivors include her husband Ralph, a daughter Linda of Leawood, Kansas, a sister, Marjorie Schur and husband Curtis of Salina, two grandchildren, Jennifer Briggs and husband Monty of Minneapolis, Kansas and Jospeh Schur and wife Elizabeth of Lee’s Summit, Missouri and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary. Burial will be in the Crown Point Cemetery, northwest of Salina.

Memorials may be made to the Tammy Walker Cancer Center, First United Methodist Church of Salina, or the charity of the donor’s choice.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary with the family receiving friends from 6 – 8 p.m.
