Mr. Shea was born March 23, 1924, in Delphos. He was a parole officer for Kansas State Department of Corrections for 20 years, retiring in 1979.

Survivors include his wife, Lola M., of Salina; three sons, Patrick of Lawrence and Brian and Kent, both of Salina; a sister, Norma Woodrum of Fresco, Calif.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina, American Heart Association or Kansas Lung Association.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
