Mrs. Smith was born Grace Elizabeth Lum on March 17, 1921, in Dennison. She was a retired nursing home administrator, serving as administrator at Nicol Nursing Home, Glasco, and Crestview Nursing Home, Bennington.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, John Alfred Morris and Doyle Norris Smith.

Survivors include five sons, Donald D. Morris of Linwood, Dan E. Morris and David Belden, both of Topeka, Edward Morris of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and John T. Morris of Boone, N.C.; two daughters, Vicki Sly of Salina and Judy Shepard of Topeka; a sister, Margaret Timberlake of Topeka; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Inurnment will be at a later date in Beverly Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.
