Mrs. Stavropoulos was born Katherine Felis on Feb. 15, 1916, at Theleron, Greece, to Athanasios Felis and Despina Economopoulos. She was a homemaker and loved cooking, gardening, children and life.

She married George Stavropoulos on Jan. 26, 1947, in Corinth, Greece. He preceded her in death in 1978.

Survivors include a son, John and wife Melanie of Salina; a daughter, Mary Dormer and husband Lon of Topeka; a sister, Maria Dimopoulos of Theleron, Greece; and six grandchildren, Nathan Dormer, George Stavropoulos, Nick Dormer, Nik Stavropoulos, Ariana Stavropoulos and Theo Stavropoulos.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at All Saints Orthodox Church, 2818 Scanlan, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

A Trisagion/Prayer Service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
