Mrs. Talley was born Lois Lee Theleman on Aug. 12, 1949, in Beloit.

She graduated from Natoma High School in 1967 and received an associate’s degree from Dodge City Junior College in 1970.

She was a licensed practical nurse at Downs and at a nursing home in Salina and was employed at Phillips Lighting and as a lunchroom aide at Franklin Elementary School.

She married Duane Talley on June 21, 1974. She was an avid supporter of Salina Central High School football and baseball, American Legion baseball and the Salina Blaze.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Theleman, in 1970; and her mother, Leona States, in 2004.

Survivors include her husband, Duane, of the home; a son, Rocko of Salina; a sister, Susie Price of Salina; three brothers, Gene Theleman of Natoma, Larry Theleman of Goodland and Darrell Theleman of Colby; 17 nieces and nephews; a great-niece; and two great-nephews.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, Father Kerry Ninemire officiating. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Salina American Legion baseball teams.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
