Mrs. Watkins was born Lydia Bertha Reiff on July 31, 1908, in Gypsum. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos; a son, Glenn Richard Magathan, in 1998; and a daughter, Anita Joy Culbertson.

Survivors include a sister, Ruth Hubele of Lincoln; and three stepsons, Larry, Jerry, and Terry Watkins.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Temple Church Cemetery, rural Gypsum. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Kansas.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
