Mrs. White was born Beverly Ann Frederick on Dec. 22, 1937, in Springfield, Ill. She worked for Household Finance Corp. and was a homemaker.

She was married to Francis M. “Frank” White on March 30, 1957.

She was a member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina, for 42 years, where she served on many committees and played in the church handbell choir for more than 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert W. and Grace M. (Ginder) Frederick; and her husband.

Survivors include a son, David and wife Lori of Apex, N.C.; a daughter, Kathleen White of Jacksonville, Ill.; two brothers, Thomas M. Frederick of Venice, Fla., and Donald L. Frederick of Sandwich, Ill.; a sister, Donna S. Applegate of Springfield; and a granddaughter, Caroline Francis White of Apex.

The memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina, the Rev. Nancy Crowl officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Rochester Cemetery, Rochester, Ill.

Memorials may be made to the church or Salina Family Healthcare and Dental Center.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
