Mrs. Acklin was born Shirley Mae Ditto on July 5, 1934, in Salina. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Roscoe T.,of Salina; a son, R. Thomas of Salina; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Skipworth of McPherson and Yvonne Marie Goodwin of Griffin, Ga.; two brothers, John Wayne and David Allen; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Church of God. Burial will be in Geneseo Cemetery, Geneseo.

Memorials may be made to First Church of God.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
