Mrs. Anderson was born Donna Jean Kirkpatrick on Jan. 13, 1929, in McPherson. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell A. Peterson, in 1991.

Survivors include two sons, Chris Peterson and Mark Peterson and wife Sofia, all of Salina; two daughters, Denise Corbett and husband Rick of Salina and Laura Adamyk and husband Jon of McPherson; a brother, John Kirkpatrick and wife Roberta of Quincy, Ill.; three sisters, Barbara Houser of Gardenerville, Nev., Mary Lou Yaden of St. Louis and Sue Gohn and husband Lyle of Fayetteville, Ark.; 14 grandchildren, Jessica Erickson, Jennifer Carter, Dianna Martinez, Sarah Corbett, Alyssa Corbett and Katie Corbett, all of Salina, Nathan, Michael, Anna, Rachel and Claire Adamyk, all of McPherson, Jennifer Harrison of Oklahoma, Nicole Torling of Chicago and Elya Adamyk of Fort Huachuca, Ariz.; and eight great-grandchildren, Takara, Mariah, Elijah, Isiah, Ty, Andrew, Brianna and William.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Inurnment will be in Brookville City Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
