Mr. Anderson was born December 1, 1928, at Roxbury. He was a Master Sergeant with the USAF serving his country form August 3, 1948 to August 31, 1974. He saw service in England, Germany, Korea, and Vietnam in addition to several state side bases, working as a draftsman.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, of the home; four children of California; five stepchildren of Iowa; and two sisters, Alice Benefer of Gypsum and Lois Hendrix of Ava, Mo.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Roxbury United Parish, 110 W. South, Roxbury 67476. Burial with military honors by McConnell Air Force Base will be in Valley View Cemetery, Roxbury.

Memorials may be made to the church.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
