Mr. Ashcraft was born May 2, 1927, in Deerborn County, Ind. He was a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of the home; five sons, Kevin, Rick, Jeff and Mike, all of Salina, and David of Brookville; a daughter, Lisa Gormley of Salina; a sister, Hazel of Greendale, Ind.; two brothers, Donald of Celina, Ohio, and Dale of Houstonville, KY.; and two grandchildren.

The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137, N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Abilene City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Saline County A.R.C. chapter or Pinnacle Care Health Center.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
