Ms. Austian was born June 29, 1940, in Salina. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a brother, Eldon Cash of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four sisters, Etta Purdham and Linda Ferguson, both of Salina, Dorothy Rozzell of Kirkland, Wash., and Alma Cash of Colorado Springs.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
