Ms. Bachus was born September 23, 1919 in Leroy, Kansas, the daughter of Clyde Bachus and Eva Benson. Ms. Bachus worked for over 35 years as an Administrative Ass. with the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C. In retirement, she traveled to Spain, Portugal, Virgin Islands, Greece, Italy, Norway, Rotterdam, Sluth America, Poland, and throughout the United States visiting family and friends. She was an amateur artist and enjoyed painting.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Myrtle Wey, Richmond, VA. and Freda Hudson, Sylvia, KS. and a brother, Cloyce Bachus, Abbyville, KS.

She is survived by two brothers, Toss Bachus, Abbyville, KS, Floyd Bachus, Phoenix, AZ, and a sister, Emma Pearl McBride, Salina, KS.

Memorial services will be held at the graveside in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson, KS on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 10:30 am.
