Mrs. Bader was born Mildred A. Troutt on Feb. 15, 1911, in Grand Junction, Colo. She was a retired elementary teacher in Las Cruces, N.M.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles L. Petrie, in 1962; her second husband, Albert K. Bader, in 2005; and a stepdaughter, Christine.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Kerin Denning of Overland Park and Jacqueline Bach of Tahlequah, Okla.; seven stepgrandchildren; and many stepgreat-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. A private burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Junction City.

Memorials may be made to Alterra Sterling House, 1200 E. Kirwin, Salina, or Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Salina.

There will be no visitation.
