Mrs. Blankenship was born Jo Ann Phyllis Just on Nov. 4, 1930, in Salina. She was a clerk secretary for Beech Aircraft, Salina, for many years, retiring in 1994.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack.

Survivors include a brother, Jerry Just of Pawnee City, Neb.; two sisters, Marilyn Waddington of Waxhaw, N.C., and Carole Batts of Wilson, N.C.; three nieces; and five nephews.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
