Mrs. Bowman was born Dorothy G. Sprague on May 8, 1925, in Vesper. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil, of Salina; three sons, Joe of Marquette, Steve of Hutchinson and Rodney of Fort Collins, Colo.; a daughter, Glenda Rittle of Wichita; a brother, Paul of Salina; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Holiday Resort Adult Care & Rehabilitation of Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
