Mr. Boyd was born Dec. 4, 1965, in Topeka. He was a metal fabricator for Twin Oaks, Salina.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher.

Survivors include his wife, Marce, of Salina; a son, Jordan of Salina; a daughter, Katie Boyd of Salina; two brothers, Rick Moon of Topeka and James Boyd of Lyndon; five sisters, Tammy Moon of Topeka, Melody Lowry of Lyndon, Tracy Shirley of Barkley, and Karena Boyd and Heather Eberley, both of Ponca City, Okla.; his father and stepmother, Galen and Betty Boyd, of Harlingen, Texas; his mother and stepfather, Kathryn and Don Everhart, of Bedford, Iowa; his father-in-law, Joe and wife Suzanne Hokett; his mother-in-law, Sheryl and husband Clare Howard, all of Salina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Covenant Church, Salina, the Rev. Doug McHenry officiating. Inurnment will be in Vassar Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Jordan and Katie Boyd Memorial Fund.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
