Mrs. Cabral was born Elena Gallegos on April 29, 1929, in Santa Paula, Calif. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Efren and Tobias.

Survivors include her husband, Tobias of Salina; nine sons, Javier, Alvaro, Salomon, Jose, Armando, Indalecio, Manuel, Felipe and Ignacio, from Kansas and California; four daughters, Rosa Cabral, Antonia Cabral, Dolores Cabral and Alejandra Cabral, from Kansas and California; two brothers, Roberto Gallegos and Gerardo Gallegos, both of California; a sister, Francisca Gallegos-Lopez of California; 36 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at noon Wednesday at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, 3701 E. Crawford, Salina 67401.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. today at the cathedral.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the cathedral.
