Mrs. Chrisbens was born Ruby Dawley on April 11, 1913, in rural Osborne County. She was owner and operator of the Paramount Tavern.

She was a member of Salina Eagles Aerie Auxiliary 765 and American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy, in 1984.

Survivors include a son, Gary of Salina; a daughter, Sherry Ann Ward of Ormand Beach, Fla.; three grandsons; and a great-grandson.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
