Ms. DeLaney was born Lynn Marie Smith on Oct. 7, 1940, in Salina. She was a waitress at Mar's Restaurant.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Anthony DeLaney, in 1965; and her parents, Anita G. Smith, in 1979, and Willis O. Smith, in 1981.

Survivors include a son, Scott Matthew DeLaney and girlfriend Melanie Benoit of Salina; two daughters, Penni Lynn Maltbie and husband Chuck and Stephanie Marie Ferguson and husband Rick, all of Salina; two sisters, Kay Medley and husband Arlo of Gypsum and Virginia Loebach of Salina; five grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, Salina. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
