Mr. Dupes was born November 7, 1919, in Tescott. He was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Roy; and a great-grandson, Ryan.

Survivors include his wife, Ona Ruth, of the home; three sons, Greg of Gypsum, Steve of Kokomo, Ind., and Ralph of Rolla. Mo.; five daughters, Ona Hough of Silver Lake, Ruth Howell of Linn, Judy Kobetich of Wakefield, Tena Johnson of Manhattan and Anita Jo Preston of Falun; a sister, Adeline Christensen of Lincoln; 15 grandchildren, Scott Hough, Julie Hough, Daniel Howell, Amy Howell, Gail Kobetich, Kyle Kobetich, Amanda Preston, Jessica Dupes, Jordan Dupes, Justin Dupes, Julia Dupes, Stephanie Dupes, Jennifer Dupes and Kelly Dupes; two great-grandchildren, Lane Hough and Joshua Schellenberger; a stepgrandchild, Christina Thompson; and two stepgreat-grandchildren, Jessie Bulson and Daniel Bulson.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Kevin Kline officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, near Gypsum.

Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or a church or charity of the donor's choice.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the mortuary.
