Mr. Finch was born June 29, 1914, in St. Louis. He was a traffic manager for Boeing Aircraft.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eunice, in 1977; and a daughter, Terri Finch, in 2005.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; three daughters, Mary Peeler of Oklahoma, Ellen Kreider of Blaine, Wash., and Susan Cureau of Slidell, La.; a son, Michael Finch of Cogan Station, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at a later date. The body was cremated.
