Mrs. Fisher was born Veronica Jean Schroeder on Oct. 3, 1949, in Madison, Wis. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer C. Schroeder; her mother, Margarette Littlegeorge; and her stepfather, Lawrence Littlegeorge.

Survivors include her husband, James E., of the home; two sons, Michael L. Klein of Onalaska, Wis., and Leslie A. Fay of Green Bay, Wis.; a daughter, Amy J. Fisher of Salina; a brother, Richard E. Hollingsworth II and wife Karen of Tomah, Wis.; a sister, Angela Chase and husband Ole of North Bend, Ore.; three stepbrothers, Evans and Larry Littlegeorge of Wisconsin and Rocky Littlegeorge of Manmouth, Ill.; two stepsisters, Cecilia and Reta Littlegeorge of Wisconsin; and 10 grandchildren, Teasha Fisher, Dezarae Reeves, David Redding, Blaze Greengrass, Fiona and Lexi Fay, and Dustin, Ashley, Jesse and Samuel Klein.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary 137, N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. There will be no interment. The body was cremated.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
