Mrs. Hanson was born Sandra J. Falk on Oct. 13, 1941, in Concordia to Lloyd and Ethel Falk. She graduated from Montrose High School and Brown Mackie Business College, Salina. She married Dennis on Dec. 5, 1977. She was a homemaker.She was a member of University United Methodist Church, Saline County T.O.P.S. and Saline County Genealogical Society.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Karen Falk; and two brothers, Gerald and Dewayne Engstrom.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis, of the home; two sons, Randy Brown and wife Janet and Rodney Brown, all of Salina; three daughters, Penny Hughes and husband Tracy of McLouth, Becky Tappendick and husband Ray of Norfolk, Va., and Angela Hanson of Grand Island, Neb.; two brothers, LeeRay Falk and wife Dee of Formoso and Leon Falk and wife Judy of Burlingame; two brothers- in-law, Delvin Hanson and wife Nancy and Lyndell Hanson and wife Susie, all of Mankato; seven grandchildren, Jesci, Cassie, Anthony, Chirstopher, Amanda, William and Jennifer; and six great-grandchildren, Emarold, Logan, Garrett, Evan, Weston and Phoebe.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at University United Methodist Church, Salina. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. in Ada Lutheran Cemetery, Kackley.

Memorials may be made to the church or the American Heart Association.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
