Mrs. Harnois was born Nila Janice Parcell on Feb. 7, 1908, in Glasco, Kan. She worked as a seamstress for The Parish dress shop in Salina, Kan.

She was a charter member of the Retired Eagles Club and secretary and past president of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary, the Golden Years Club and Sacred Heart Cathedral.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fritz, in 1983; and a son, Robert, in 1996.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Jo Wolf of Battle Creek and Alice Lachenmaier of Hutchinson, Kan.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside inurnment will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina.

There is no visitation. The body was cremated.
