Mr. Hoeffner was born July 21, 1944, in Salina. He was a realtor in Salina for more than 30 years. He was a founding partner in Millwood Reality in 1977 and continued with the firm as broker/owner until his death.

He was a member of the Salina Board of Realtors, the Salina Country Club and Salina Elks Club.

Survivors include his wife, Karen, of the home; two sons, Kirk Hoeffner and wife Holly of Topeka and Chris Johnson of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Lori Hoeffner and fiance Brandon Wright of Chicago and Kayla and husband Roger Moss of Berryton; his mother, Margaret Hoeffner, of Salina; two brothers, Leo and wife Rosario of San Jose, Costa Rica, and Donald of Tulsa, Okla., an aunt, Maurine DeWar of Salina; five grandchildren, Allison, Brandon and Kailee Hoeffner of Topeka and Tanner and Jake Moss, both of Berryton.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Covenant Church, 2625 E, Magnolia, Salina.

A funeral Mass will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, 230 E. Cloud, Salina. Burial will be in All Saints Catholic Cemetery, East Crawford, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity, St. Mary Catholic Church or First Covenant Church.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
