Jacob was born Oct. 16, 1996, in Dickinson County.

Survivors include his parents, Michael Scott and Dannae Houser of Solomon; a brother, Jeremy of Solomon; and two grandparents.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Salina Heights Christian Church, Salina. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, next to Mount Pleasant Church, Holland.

Memorials may be made to Salina Heights Christian Church Vacation Bible School.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening.
