Ms. Howell was born Sept. 23, 1940, in Limestone, N.Y. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include four sons, Andy McGee of Salina, Allan McGee of Caddo Mills, Texas, Raymond McGee of Charlotte, N.C., Edward McGee of New York; three daughters, Melinda Ratcliff of Denison, Texas, Kasandra Patrick of Bradford, Pa., and Melissa McGee of Pampa, Texas; 22 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church, Salina.

Inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

There will be no visitation.
