Mr. Jensen was born April 30, 1919 in Lincoln County, the son of Nels Christian and Ellen (Hansen) Jensen. He worked as a farmer in the Lincoln area for 70 years, retiring in 2001.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Marie Jensen in 2004 and a son, Galen Jensen in 1970.

Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Zier of Lincoln; one grandson, Aaron Zier of Lincoln and one granddaughter, Gaylene Zier-Ryan and husband Brendan and great-grandson, Zachary Ryan, all of Melvern.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Denmark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Denmark, with Covenant Pastors Ronald B. and Marcia MacLennan officiating. Burial will be in the Denmark Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
