Mrs. Julius was born Lois M. Hawk on October 24, 1930 in Lindsborg, the daughter of Ralph D. and Leona (Youngquist) Hawk. She was a homemaker and worked as a bookkeeper for Heusner Elementary School.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Julius in 1997.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane Anderson and husband Bryan of Salina and Sharon Hays of El Dorado; a brother, Don Hawk and wife Maj-Britt of Lindsborg; and five grandchildren, Lisa Sankey and husband Eric of Salina, Peter Anderson and fiancé Katy, both of Wichita and Emily, James and Thomas Hays, all of El Dorado.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 255 S. 7th, Salina, the Rev. Kent Happel officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 5:30 – 7 p.m.
