Mr. Kendrick was born Aug. 22, 1932, in Russell Springs. He was a special education teacher.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis Renee Kendrick, in 1962.

Survivors include his wife, Donna of the home; two sons, Kerry of Lindsborg and Pete of Gypsum; two daughters, Nancy Kendrick of Gypsum and Radonda Buford of Colby; a brother, Earl of Scott City; three sisters, Alberta Griffin of Leslie, Ark., Alma Fries of Brighton, Colo., and Wilma Fries of Lyons, Colo.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Gypsum. Inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the church or Hospice of Salina.

There will be no visitation.
