Mrs. Knopp was born Mary Ann Biesecker on July 8, 1937, in Abilene to Glen and Marie. She was married to William "Bill" Knopp on May 25, 1955 in Abilene. She was a courtesy clerk for Dillions for 17 years. She had also worked for Western Sizzlin Steak House and Bonanza restaurants.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Patricia, in 1957.

Survivors include her husband, William "Bill" Knopp, of the home; two sons, Dwight and Max Knopp, both of Salina; two brothers, Donald Knopp of Decatur, Alabama, and Ronald Knopp of Olathe; a sister, Betty Adee of Abilene; and four grandchildren, Taylor and Harrison Knopp, Amanda Neuschafer and Samantha Elsasser.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, the Rev. Paul Robbins officiating. Burial will be in the Abilene Cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to Relay for Life, Salina.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
