Mrs. Lagerberg was born Helen Marie Holmquist on Nov. 11, 1911, in Ogallah. She was a retired owner of the Knit Shop in Kraft Manor, Salina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger E. Lagerberg, in 2001.

Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Jones of Overland Park and Janee Doherty of Salina; five grandchildren, John Doherty, Jim Doherty, Rich Jones, Candi Simms and Krissy Hardy; and 10 great-grandchildren, Libby Hardy, Katie Hardy, Hannah Jones, Matt Jones, Lindsey Simms, Brandon Doherty, Ryan Doherty, Kirklan Pauli, Jordan Fritschen and Kendra Fritschen.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Covenant Church, 2625 E. Magnolia Road, Salina 67401. A private inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Kaye Pogue Hospice of Salina.

There will be no visitation. The body was cremated.
