Mr. Lentz was born Jan. 27, 1940, in Wichita. He was a machinist and field representative for Exline, Salina, for more than 30 years. After retiring, he hosted travel tours.His hobbies included golf, woodworking and traveling in his RV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dean and Delilah Lentz.

Survivors include his wife, Cathy, of the home; a son, Randy of Hutchinson; two daughters, Stephanie Rangel and husband Gilbert of Arlington, Texas, and Shari Sutton and husband Jeff of Salina; a brother, Donald and wife Stephanie of Wichita; a sister, Dolores Krisher and husband John of Enterprise; and five grandchildren, Colby Sutton, Maci Sutton, Justin Rangel, Kaitlyn Rangel and Pamela Rangel.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Southern Baptist Church, Salina, the Rev. Glenn Davis officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
