Pastor Kenneth A. Macormic

Pastor Kenneth A. Macormic, 59, Salina, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007.

Pastor Macormic was born Feb. 20, 1948, in Independence, Mo. He was senior minister at Salina Heights Christian Church for 17 years.He was a past president of the Christian Evangelizing Association, past president of King Solomon Christian Camp Association, chapel speaker for Salina Christian Academy, relief chaplain for Salina Regional Health Center and a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.

Survivors include his wife, Terri, of the home; two sons, Lance D. of Perth, Australia, and Aaron M. of Salina; a brother, Charles J. of Mandeville, La.; four sisters, Linda M. Craig of Springfield, Mo., Jeannie Loethen of Jefferson City, Mo., Lisa Henriksen of Tigard, Ore., and Lydia Perry of Corvallis, Ore.; his mother, Mary Ann Macormic of Springfield, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Salina Heights Christian Church in Salina.

Memorials may be made to the church’s Christian Education Scholarship Fund.

There will be no visitation.
