Mr. McCabe was born Sept. 27, 1936, near Mendon, Ill. He was a semitruck owner and operator, driving for Graves Truck Line.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann, of the home; and two sisters, Sandra Hendrickson of Hannibal, Mo., and Donna Moller of Quincy, Ill.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, 3701 E. Crawford, Salina.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
