Mrs. Northup was born Aug. 28, 1931, in Salina, the daughter of John and Viola Goodall. She graduated from Salina High School and St. Lukes School of Nursing in Kansas City. She was employed by St. John’s Hospital in Salina, St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia and the Saline County Health Department. She was a member of Church of the Cross United Methodist Church in Salina. She married Wayne Northup on June 29, 1960, at Grand Avenue Methodist Church, Salina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Elaine Carney; and two brothers, Jack and Keith Goodall.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne, of the home; a son, Charles Northup and wife Rita of Salina; two daughters, Susan Greene of Abilene and Gloria Lynn Myers and husband George of Topeka; five grandchildren, Crystal Northup, Kurt Northup, Chelsea Greene, Lauren Greene and Trey Clark; and a great-granddaughter, Kristin Northup.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Cross United Methodist Church, the Rev. Jerre Nolte officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
