Mrs. Nusbaum was born Opal J. Griffith on Jan. 11, 1924, in Beloit. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Gillen, in 1973; her second husband, Lawrence Nusbaum, in 1993; and two daughters, Vickie Gillen, in 1985, and Nancy Radabaugh, in 1987.

Survivors include a son, Larry Gillen of Salem, Ore.; two daughters, Deborah Mullen of Marquette and Janice Beffort of Salina; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Downs Cemetery, Downs.

Memorials may be made to Pinnacle Park Nursing Home, Salina.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
