Mrs. Patterson was born Mildred Andrews, on May 21, 1925 at Talmage, the daughter of Ray and Helen Andrews. She graduated from Culver High School in 1943 and from Halstead Hospital School of Nursing in 1946. She was a registered nurse with Via Christi Hospital, Wichita, retiring in 1990.

Survivors include two sons, Ray Patterson of Valley Center, CA. and John Patterson of Wichita; a sister, Marjorie McCarty of Ashland; two grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A graveside gathering will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Highland Cemetery, New Cambria.

Mildred was a victim of fraud and theft; in lieu of flowers please help fight crimes against the elderly.

There will be no visitation.
